JULIA & VINCENT
a weekend of wedding celebration
Friday afternoon Sixth of June through to
Sunday Eighth of June 2025 In val di Noto Sicily
YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED
To witness the holy matrimony of Julia and Vincent.
We will celebrate our union with a three-day wedding feast in Val di Noto, Sicily, where time slows and life is savored.
We welcome you on Friday, with an aperitivo style dinner in the heart of baroque Noto. We will raise our glasses beneath the grand facades of palazzo Nicolaci, laughter spilling into the evening as we all get to know each other.
On Saturday, we marry in the sacred halls of San Pietro Cathedral in Modica, where we will speak our vows surrounded by the people we hold dearest. From there, the celebration unfolds beneath the open sky, on the land that will soon be our home. A place waiting to hold the echoes of dinners shared, of stories told, of a life built hand in hand.
There will be music, there will be food, there will be dancing beneath the stars until the night turns to dawn.
And on Sunday, as the weekend softens into its final chapter, we turn to the sea. To the waters that we have spent many summers at, to the view of Isola delle Correnti, where the currents of Mediterranean seas meet and the horizon stretches endlessly. We will linger here, all of us barefoot in the sand, sharing plates of barbecued fish and pasta, savoring these last golden hours together.
A wedding, yes—but more than that, a beginning. A celebration of love, of family, of the life that awaits us.
We would be honored to have you with us.
With love,
Julia & Vincent

TRAVEL & ACCOMMODATION
To enjoy the wedding celebrations and make the most of the Pentecost weekend, we recommend arriving on Thursday, June 5th, and departing on Monday, June 9th. To fully enjoy the area, we highly encourage you to arrive earlier of course! Sicily is beautiful and we cant wait to show her to you.
The nearest airport is Catania–Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), located approximately 90 km from Noto, about a one-hour drive.
We advise you to rent a car, for Sicily has many beautiful winding roads to discover. For those who prefer public transport, direct buses from Catania Airport to Noto run approximately every three hours via Etna Trasporti. The journey takes around one hour and 25 minutes, and tickets cost between €5 and €8. Taxis aren’t very common, but if you prefer private transportation we can arrange this for you.
If you are joining only for the wedding weekend, and without carrental we suggest booking accommodation in Noto for convenience. You can easily walk to the Friday celebrations, and you will be picked up for the festivities on Saturday. Please remember to state your address when you RSVP. This way we can create a comfortable route back after the Saturday festivities. For Sunday we propose to arrange some car pooling, so everyone can move around at their own discretion.
If you wish to turn this into a longer holiday, consider staying in the areas of Noto, Modica, or the countryside near Vendicari.
We recommend browsing Agriturismo.it for countryside stays and farm-style accommodations, Booking.com for a wide range of boutique hotels and guesthouses, and Airbnb.com for private villas and unique stays.
While we will arrange transportation on the wedding day, we strongly recommend renting a car if you plan to explore the region at your own pace.
We can’t wait to celebrate with you in this stunning part of Sicily!
